Wow. It’s been a long time since new pictures have gone up! While I love taking pictures, grad school plus working does not allow me a lot of time to indulge in this hobby. But when grad school plus work allows you to travel to Salvador for six weeks to study Portugues…well, you gotta take some pictures!
I traveled with a small group right outside of the city of Salvador to a small neighborhood called Ribeira. We visited an ice cream parlor that’s been serving sorvette since 1834, the Church of Nosso Senhor do Bonfim, and saw the sunset on the water (or what was left of it).
